The number one problem about BotCon's handling of the social media questions on WHO is in charge brings up a greater problem that is surfacing after a year of no information. There actually WAS some information just not pushed out on their social media accounts. Or if it was on the website it was deleted for newer updates. (One report details something mailed to them.) But these reports are buried in forum posts spread on several different forums in the transformer online communities. And if you are a fan who isn't on the forums or does not have the time to frequent them often, you are missing all the important announcements. Official BotCon Announcement - May 2021

On May 10th 2021- BotCon FINALLY posted to its Facebook page a statement giving detail to who is apart of "BC Productions" that owns the name "BotCon" and outlined who is who on board of trustees. One of whom is Pete Sinclair, confirming what fans had been stewing over for a year. Facebook post It was also then pushed out to their other media account on Twitter,  click here . BUT did BotCon ever NOT say Pete was involved? Did they lie? BotCon never said anything officially for or against it. Fans were actively talking online in public spaces and forums about it, and messaging on BotCon social media to "address" if Pete was working for the convention or not. BotCon simply said nothing. Silence. For over a year. Not confirming or denying. Plausible deniability could be the reason for saying nothing. Or it could have been a detail lost to them since a month after the February 2020 announcement the whole world went into lockdown because of the Covid-19 Corona ...

StasisLock Podcast Interview

On May 8th 2021 -  The Stasis Lock Podcast announced on the TFW2005 forum that they would be broadcasting a podcast that evening to clear the air of who was involved with BotCon 2020 (BC Productions) going forward. They also posted to their twitter social media. The following link  TFW2005 forum discussion post #850  details the initial announcement, the link to the YouTube channel and the aftermath notes taken by a forum member about the conversation on the podcast. Bret Lovell detailed how he was the CEO of BC Productions that now owns BotCon. No one else was detailed to run the convention with him, until the BotCon public post two days later that detailed six individuals.
