Keeping Accountability 100

The previous "Transformers Collectors Club" twitter social media account was rebranded by Pete Sinclair to @TFMatrix. And for several years it was completely fine and free from problems. (If this isn't your experience please contact us at TFCO so we can provide proof and background of other wise.) Gliding under the radar of most fans who did not even know it was him behind the account. When fans on twitter were told they were surprised because many of them were still following the formerly branded TFCC because they were members of the club or had an interest in what the club of the past put out on media.

Several of them expressed that they were not aware of who was running this account.

On or around the end of April 2021 during a heated back and forth between fans the @TFMatrix account was deleted completely from Twitter. (TFCO is still investigating what the cause and lead up to this deletion was.)

From what we could gather, the back and forth started after the Botcon Twitter account posted the following tweet. TFMatrix jumped into responding tweets to defend against the negative responses. The interactions with TFMatrix are still public, but it is difficult to reconstruct how it went since TFMatrix is a deleted account and twitter shows them as missing for that reason.

May 2nd 2021, the account @Pete_S2004 opened with the invitation to "ask him anything" about FunPub days. We gather that this is a day or two after the TFMatrix account was completely deleted.

Then between two different weekends of debating fans online, Pete renamed the account to @PtSinclair2004 and that is what it has remained at the time of this report.

Deliberately deleting social media accounts is Pete's signature move. It has been done to the original BotCon twitter account, if you return to the very first post they posted online from that account it started around April 2020. BotCon's twitter was around for YEARS before April 2020. (It's creation date says June 2015.) So it's clear that it was deleted and/or purged of any past incriminating tweets. (Unless fans took screenshot evidence it's very unlikely tweets from pre-2020 will ever be recoverable.) Now granted, it could have been one of the new undisclosed people who run BotCon now. That's true it could be. But Pete has admitted to also having access to the BotCon social media twitter account and he had possession of it before BotCon was turned over to the new group.

Also, the new group could have just as easily created a new account instead of take possession of the old one. But they didn't. One of the benefits of not doing that is to keep the "followers" on that old account. And that's something Pete would understand since he's trying to sell BotCon branded swag. But he's got the most invested in that account and would really like to make sure the past doesn't come back to bite him in the ass. Fans will have to decide for themselves who purged the original BotCon, its unlikely we'll get a straight answer from BotCon/BC Productions/or Pete himself. (But hopefully people in BC Productions start to ask questions about how that went down?)

And then the rebranding of the Transformers Collector Club social media account to TFMatrix. Which is now deleted. Not to mention the random fans who have theorized for years that a random troll twitter account was suspected of being Pete all along. It's just what he does.

One of the biggest points of defense coming from the Pete Sinclair Camp is proof. Proof that what was said is what was said, proof of the racist comments that have been posted on a social media account, proof of the harassment that fans are saying continues to happen. He asks for proof assuming there is none. We here at TFCO, are asking that if you have it, lets document it and make sure that its available in one place for everyone, supporter and non-supporter alike, to view. So it can't just be deleted.

If you've been harassed on twitter by Pete, please reach out to TFCO! We are trying to piece together a timeline and evidence in a single place to document a pattern of behavior to share with all fans so you can choose to avoid interaction but still be heard. And so those who deny his behavior can get a clearer picture from fans who are trying to keep him accountable online.
