Fan is Harassed off Twitter

May 10, 2021 Random online Transformers reviewer named Brentosaur posted a personal tweet on his opinion of BotCon. He did not @ at anyone but Pete and some of his supporters found and engaged with Brentosaur until he felt threatened enough to delete his twitter account to keep the harassment from continuing. Not sure if Brent was being targeted from the beginning? Pete seems to allude several times online since this interaction that there are a group of specific "bad actors" trying to soil his name and what he's built. But the list seems to keep growing and new people are being added almost every time there is a drama event online. Anyone that says anything about him that is negative seems to be apart of this growing group YET, they have been around for 5-8 years? One might say that anyone that criticizes Pete is a "bad character" by virtue of just not being on his side. |  Brentosaur Post One  |  Brentosaur Post Two  |  Brentosaur Post Three  |  Bren...

Keeping Accountability 102

Image
Night Shining the company owned and run by Pete Sinclair recently posted the following free comic for its RoboCon 2021 . And then the following happened: Twitter Post While everything has turned out right in the end , for a person who has boasted that they know how the fandom and fans are, it shouldn't be a surprise that fans notice things and many of them are very supportive of many artists all throughout the fandom. While the original post gave credit to the artists who worked on the free comic, you'd think that the CARE expected would also not have been forgotten on this important detail. Transformers fans have been an incredibly vocal majority online in giving credit and support to artists. Does Pete really know this fandom like he says he does? Was he paying attention when fans ranted about the FT-24 Rouge, Nicee, or the recently AlienAttack Toys OPG-01 all because they were overly sexualized? (All 3rd party products too.) If he's thinking this is special attention bec...

Random Posts in Random Places

The number one problem about BotCon's handling of the social media questions on WHO is in charge brings up a greater problem that is surfacing after a year of no information. There actually WAS some information just not pushed out on their social media accounts. Or if it was on the website it was deleted for newer updates. (One report details something mailed to them.) But these reports are buried in forum posts spread on several different forums in the transformer online communities. And if you are a fan who isn't on the forums or does not have the time to frequent them often, you are missing all the important announcements. TFW2005 AllSpark Tformers If you aren't on each of these transformer news websites OR on the AllSpark News Discord server, then you are missing things that could have been reported but are most definitely NOT where their main social media accounts could easily advertise. Or their website. Our plea is to the fans then, please help us find posts where Bo...

It's Always Been There

This obscure thread from the TFW2005 forum is very telling of how things were as a historical photo into the fans of 2012. Pete the fan was a wonderful person, but Pete the FunPub employee was a different thing entirely. It's a short thread but the final post seals the tale. Click Here to read

On May 10th 2021- BotCon FINALLY posted to its Facebook page a statement giving detail to who is apart of "BC Productions" that owns the name "BotCon" and outlined who is who on board of trustees. One of whom is Pete Sinclair, confirming what fans had been stewing over for a year. Facebook post It was also then pushed out to their other media account on Twitter,  click here . BUT did BotCon ever NOT say Pete was involved? Did they lie? BotCon never said anything officially for or against it. Fans were actively talking online in public spaces and forums about it, and messaging on BotCon social media to "address" if Pete was working for the convention or not. BotCon simply said nothing. Silence. For over a year. Not confirming or denying. Plausible deniability could be the reason for saying nothing. Or it could have been a detail lost to them since a month after the February 2020 announcement the whole world went into lockdown because of the Covid-19 Corona ...
